This is a long time pending post, when the air was chilled and the breeze blew your hair away, when the days were shorter and the nights longer. Yes, I am talking about the winter, where in this part of the world, it’s merely like a glimpse of this season, the one which vanishes with the blink of an eye. Though the winters are kind of shorter here, but during those couple of days it’s really cold. That’s when I made this little beanie for my dear 2 year old son to protect him from the harsh weather.
This is a simple beanie cap where I made each step by measuring how well it could fit his head. I got this chart of the dimensions of cap as per the age. It was almost the same just a little 0.5 inch difference here and there. But nevertheless it helped in getting the approximate measurements.
The best part about this cap is my son totally adored it. He grabbed it as soon as it was done and plonked on his head. Whenever there was a plan being made to go out, the first thing he did was run to get his beanie.
