Day 70 : How to make chocolate ganache

Chocolate lovers just need a chance to indulge in more and more chocolate. This chocolate ganache is easy to make and will make you lick your fingers ( or the bowl maybe ) till its end. Ganache is basically chocolate and cream. The combination of this makes a delicious treat. Typically, both chocolate and cream are used in equal quantities but it all depends on the texture you may need.

So let’s not waste any more time and check out this amazingly easy chocolate ganache that tastes heavenly.



1 cup semisweet chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature


Roughly chop the chocolate and place in a heat proof bowl. Keep it aside. I highly prefer to use Hershey’s semisweet chocolate bar.

In a saucepan, heat the cream on medium heat till it starts to simmer. Pour the cream over the chocolate. Wait for about 2-3 minutes.

Add the butter and stir well.

Enjoy this delicious chocolate ganache as toppings or frosting or just as it is!
