Day 19 : 3 steps to start your day with a BANG

I recently shared a post on How to make the most out of your day. When you visualize your day engrossed in a lot of chores it becomes difficult to think straight. For a new home maker this can be quite overwhelming. There are these three things which you can do daily to feel as if you can conquer this day too. Don’t underestimate them. They truly work wonders.

1. Make your bed the first thing you get up in the morning. You will feel like your room is smiling back at you. It gives you instant energy for the rest of your tasks.

2. Dress yourself. This is the next best thing you can do. Look in the mirror. You have the confidence to tackle everything now.

3. Pray. Starting your day with prayers gives us an assurance that the day will go right.

  1. I agree that getting dressed helps you with your day!! If I stay in my nightgown too long, I can feel laziness seeping in. 😦

    I don’t make my bed as soon as I get up. For one thing, Mr. U is still asleep (not a morning person LOL). But I LOOOVE to open the windows in the bedrooms especially and air out the room. After Mr. U gets up, I”ll throw back all the covers and let the sheets air out, too. I make the bed immediately after breakfast. :

    I LOVE reading morning routines from others. So fun!!
